The F1 triathalon

Who would have thought that Jenson Button can run, swim and ride as well as drive?

Like the rest of the F1 contingent, the world championship leader Jenson Button is midway through a four-week summer hiatus from racing.

But instead of sitting on the beach in Spain, the British ace competed in the London Triathlon, recording a personal best time of 2h 7m 2s over the Olympic distance (1500m swim/40km bike/10km run).

Winner Will Clarke's time was a little more than 22m faster.

Lewis Hamilton was entered in the event too but backed out.
