The new exterior features body-hugging lines along the side of the car and a ride height that sits 18cm lower to the ground. On the inside, customers can option the A-Class with either "Urban", "Style" and "AMG Sport" equipment levels.
Petrol engine choices for the new range include a 90kW, 115kW and 155kW options, while the diesels can be powered by 80kW/250Nm, 100kW/300Nm or 125kW/350Nm. Mercedes say the most economical of the diesel engines should be able to achieve 3.7 l/100km which converts to 99g/km of CO2.
