Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series arrives with ultra-exclusive $590k price tag

Until the 911 GT2 RS arrives, the 911 Turbo S is the pinnacle of Porsche performance – but what if that isn’t enough? What if you want your all-paw twin-turbo Porker to not only have more poke, but exude a little more individuality relative to every other Turbo S?

Enter the Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series, a limited-edition version of Porsche’s heavy-hitting Turbo that screws more power from its flat-six mill and adds bespoke embellishments inside and out. Only 500 will be sold worldwide, and it will cost a colossal $590,700 in Australia.

The Exclusive Series takes the Turbo S’ 3.8-litre twin turbo flat six and massages it to 446kW – 19kW more than the standard Turbo S – though peak torque remains at 750Nm between 2250-4000rpm. The zero-to-100 run is accomplished in 2.9 seconds and top speed is 330km/h. Both of those stats are identical to the regular Turbo S.

It will, however, get you to 200km/h three-tenths of a second faster, sprinting from zero to 200km/h in 9.6 seconds rather than the Turbo S Sport Chrono’s  9.9 seconds. Normally an optional extra, the Sport Chrono is included as standard in the Exclusive Series.

It will also look pretty special in your driveway, with the Exclusive Series cars to be available in a unique Golden Yellow Metallic paint finish. Look closely at the two stripes that run down the car’s centreline, and you’ll see through to the carbonfibre structure of the bonnet and roof as well.

Clear-coated carbonfibre features elsewhere, adorning the engine decklid scoop, sideskirts, rear gurney flap, sill plates and the rear bumper’s lower section. The wheels are a retro-inspired design measuring 20-inches, painted black and gold, and secured with a single centrelock nut. The calipers for the Exclusive’s standard-issue carbon-ceramic brakes also get a unique paint treatment, with gold lettering on black to match the wheels they lurk behind.

Hand-finished by Porsche’s in-house bespoke workshop, Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, the Turbo S Exclusive Series will also flaunt a high-end interior with a gold-on-black theme. A pair of 18-way adjustable sports seats are trimmed in two layers of perforated leather (gold stripes beneath with black leather above for a three-dimensional look) and the Alcantara roof lining gets a twin-stripe treatment to match.

Yellow contrast stitching is everywhere, along with splashes of carbonfibre on the centre console, dash and doors. The carbon trim is also interwoven with copper thread to continue the gold-on-black theme.

Still not exclusive enough? Porsche Design can also sell you a 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series chronograph watch, which sports the same colour scheme as the car, and just like the actual vehicle only 500 will be available. A leather luggage set that’s specific to the Exclusive Series (and designed to slot in perfectly to the 911’s limited storage space) can also be yours – should you be lucky enough to snare one of these cars.
