The very last Ford Falcon to ever be built in Australia has begun its solemn journey down the production line.
PICTURES have surfaced of the very last Ford Falcon sedan and Ford Territory being built at Ford Australia’s Broadmeadows plant.
Posted on a Ford fan Facebook page, the shots depict the blue Falcon and silver Territory as bare bodyshells, beginning their journey down the production line.
It appears these will be the last cars to roll off the Broadmeadows production line, not the last saleable versions – those cars have already been built and will be put up for auction.
Wheels understands the blue Ford XR6 Falcon will be the last car to come off the line, and will do so at 9:30am tomorrow morning.
More to come.
