Meet Monaco’s newest supercar – the Monte Carlo Automobile Rascasse.

Built by Monaco’s first car market, Monte Carlo Automobile, the Rascasse has been designed to celebrate the boutique brand’s 30th anniversary.

Named after a corner on the famous Monte Carlo street circuit, the Rascasse uses a mid-mounted, BMW-sourced 5.4-litre V12 – the same unit used in the 1998 Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph.

Producing 373kW the Rascasse is able to run on both petrol and LPG, thanks to some tinkering from Italian LPG specialist BRC.

But if that doesn’t sound like enough grunt, don’t worry. The company is planning an even more powerful, supercharged version with all-wheel-drive.

So what about cost? Well the base Rascasse, of which only 15 will be built, is tipped to retail at around $700,000.
