There were only 580 of the LE HXs made, and while they weren't actually badged as Monaros, they're pretty collectible today. They were essentially hybrids made out of HX and Statesman parts, and in the spirit of Aussie opportunism, were put onto the market as limited-edition premium HXs. We've also got to give a nod to the classic HT Monaro, the on-track success of which helped turn the Monaro into a classic.
There are Monaro clubs in every state, testament to the enduring popularity of this muscle car. Value Today: $20 000 - $26 000.
