The past week has seen the unveiling of two new cars that claim to be able to fly, the PAL-V ONE and the Terrafugia Transition. Car manufacturers' attempting to get their vehicles airborne is nothing new however. In fact, even the father of the automobile, Henry Ford, was keen to get up in the air back in the 1920s with his Ford Flivver project.
