Love the air-cooled Fiat 500 for their practicality and charm, light weight (550kg) and size: 2970mm in length, 1320mm wide. When your car cuts the standing 400m in 25.4sec (from my 1970 road test of the 500F), you needed to drive the 16kW 499.5cc air-cooled twin flat-out everywhere. The 500 was so narrow that you never had to lift off. Clonking up and down through the constant-mesh gearbox, engine putt-putting, striving to reach the 103km/h top speed, may not seem your idea of fun. But I promise this car was a delight in a way the modern Fiat 500 can't hope to match.
